is Vo5 Conditioner good to mix with Special Effects hair dye?
dying my hair in a bit. was wondering if Vo5 would be good enough to mix with Special Effects dye. the color of dye i am using is the Atomic Pink.

I'm sorry for looking at your question a bit late. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem if you'd combine VO5 conditioner with your Special Effects hair dye. Did you? How did it go?
Personally, I don't like VO5 conditioners because they're very liquid-y.

Do you have to bleach your hair before using Special Effects Hair Dye?
I want to use the Atomic Pink hair dye from Special Effects to make streaks in my hair, and I know it say it lasts like 2-3 weeks longer if you bleach it first, but do you have to bleach it to get any results? Thx in advance!

For best results you should bleach first as colours are generally more virbant and last longer when used on yellow or white hair. Over unbleached hair you may still get a sheen of colour but its unlikely to give a proper 'neon' or bright result.

will cupcake pink special effects hair dye work on medium brown hair?
I want to dye the bottom of my hair with special effects cupcake pink dye. Will it dye my hair cause it is not pre-bleached and darker?

I have the same stuff and it doesn't work. I put it in for i think 45 minutes (not healthy by the way) and it still doesn't come through. (i have meduim brown/ brunette hair.)

How long can you keep Special Effects hair dye in your hair?
I'm getting that dye soon. I've dyed my hair before, and I know certain dyes you can leave in for hours if you want, for more intense and vibrant colors. And I know leaving bleach in for longer than you're supposed to will make your hair fall out. So I just need to know if you can leave in Special Effects longer than it says on the bottle

As long as it doesn't have bleach in it, it will be fine.
I've used a similiar hair dye and I left it on all night and my hair was fine in the morning.
